I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking about summer.

Earlier this evening I was viewing videos that I had taken last summer while visiting my most favourite seaside town in France:  Arcachon on the Atlantic coast, just south of Bordeaux.

To put you in the mood – or to give you ideas for your next trip to France – here’s a two-minute video of the jetty which stretches out over Arcachon Bay.  Just beyond is Cap Ferret.  Mmmmm….I can smell that fresh, ocean air and hear the gulls wheeling overhead right now.

For newcomers to this blog, be forewarned that I haven’t quite mastered the technique of shooting video (my regular readers have already discovered this).  But I’m working on it!
