So interesting to see Parisians in their natural habitat, how they dress, etc. The park looks gorgeous and loved the attentive appreciation of the onlookers listening to that Vivaldi mini-concert. Keep up the good work!
My video-taping skills are so awful I don’t post videos often. A friend said to me once – how can you take such beautiful photos and such lousy videos? Anyway, this was filmed last March in my most favourite public garden in Paris.
Funny, I was there no later than a few hours ago… Le Jardin du Palais-Royal certainly is a beautiful place to enjoy and pay a regular visit to. The environment is always both magnificent and discreet and well catered as well.
The works on the fountain are over and so are nearly all those hidden behind the scaffoldings that one can see on your video at 1:21 and on.
I’ve never heard he little canon thunder though (http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jardin_du_Palais-Royal#Le_petit_canon). Maybe I’ll go tomorrow (the act takes place every thursday) at 12.
I guess I’ve never been there either at 12 noon on Thursday. Didn’t know about the cannon. During the FĂȘte de la musique, there’s always something really good going on in the garden.
I feel as if these pictures were intended for me!

Why don’t you come over?
Jules

Thanks! Yes, it was sunny and warm but today back to cool and overcast.
cheers.

Really? I think you’re my biggest fan, Lynette.
